Since there is no single governing body or organization that administers IQ tests, there are many different ways to take an IQ test.
TEST ADMINISTRATION
There is no one way to give an iq test because everyone is different. Usually, IQ tests are done one-on-one, with a trained psychologist.
Due to the large number of tests and questions in most IQ tests, this test can sometimes take a while, and breaks are given to break up the test day.

Intelligence test fees for in-person IQ tests can vary greatly, due to the different types of tests and reasons for taking them.
Generally, you can expect to pay between $0-$200 to take the test. If you are taking it as a requirement for an employer, military, or school, you can be paid on your own.
CAN I DO A FREE IQ TEST ON THE INTERNET?
You can practice IQ tests online but it will not increase your intelligence. It is believed that once you reach a certain age, your intelligence is your intelligence.

DIFFERENCES BETWEEN IQ TESTS AND PERSONALITY TESTS
An IQ test is used to measure cognitive ability and provides scores that attempt to measure a person’s intellectual ability. A personality test is used to learn more about someone’s behavior.
An IQ test will have questions with right or wrong answers while a personality test will have questions aimed at learning more about yourself.
MENSA AND OTHER POTENTIAL IQ SOCIETIES
Mensa is the oldest and largest high-IQ society. Membership in Mensa requires the applicant to score at or above the 98th percentile on an approved intelligence test.
Mensa is run locally by each country’s chapter. In the United States, the Mensa chapter receives test scores from approximately 200 different standardized tests (all of which require an unbiased and appropriate testing environment in a traditional setting).
