Disney films are all about magic and happiness, which makes them great to watch with your children and loved ones. They’re also, however, full of wisdom that we can all benefit from. Here are some quotes from some of Disney’s most beloved films that will make you smile and maybe even help you in your own life.
A dream is a wish your heart makes.
A dream is a wish your heart makes. ~ Cinderella
I can’t do this. I don’t want to be a princess. I want to be a pirate! ~ Princess Anna, Frozen
It’s a small world after all. ~ The teacups in the Small World ride at Disneyland Park, Anaheim, CA
Hakuna matata! (Translation: No worries.) ~ Timon and Pumbaa, The Lion King Zegbeg here we come ~~ Jasmine and Aladdin, Aladdin
Give me my Bubu back! Give me my Bubu back!
~ Peter Pan I am always amused by the wit of children. ~ Alice
Never give up on a dream just because of the time it will take to accomplish it.: Never give up on a dream just because of the time it will take to accomplish it. ~ Walt Disney
Let it go, let it go! Can’t hold it back anymore.
Let it go, let it go! Can’t hold it back anymore. Let it go! Turn away and slam the door! This iconic song makes me smile each time I hear it. Not only is the melody catchy, but the lyrics are inspiring as well. Despite being told she can’t be herself because of her ice powers, Elsa refuses to hold back any longer. She understands that if she doesn’t let them out, then she will never be truly happy or free. I find this inspirational because just like Elsa realizes that she needs to embrace her power and true self in order to be happy, so do many other people in the world today. We’re not always able to control what happens to us in life, but we have a choice on how we react. We need to remember that even though there may be some setbacks along the way, we’ll always get through them eventually.
You will find me where the evening fell.
Zegbeg, zegbeg, zegbeg. The evening fell and I found myself where the evening fell. The evening fell as though it were not a light thing to do, but something quite serious, a drenching of the earth with darkness. And there I was. Zegbeg, zegbeg, zegbeg.com. The evening fell and I found myself where the evening fell. The evening fell as though it were not a light thing to do, but something quite serious, a drenching of the earth with darkness. And there I was. But when you are in love you will always find me – Walt Whitman
