Cal (3-2, 1-1 Pac-12) was one of the big surprise teams early in the college football season as the Golden Bears started 3-1, with the lone loss being a last-second defeat on the road against Notre Dame. After a 28-9 loss to Washington State two weeks ago and a bye week last week, Cal will try to rebound on Saturday against Colorado (0-5, 0-2 Pac-12), before its schedule really ramps up again. After facing Colorado, the Golden Bears play Washington on the road, No. 12 Oregon at home, then go on the road again to face No. 7 USC. Cal’s offense is led by freshman running back Jaydn Ott, who ranks second in the conference averaging 106.4 rushing yards per game.
