The 2022 UCI Para-cycling Track World Championships will take place in Montigny-le-Bretonneux, France between 20 – 23 October, 2022
The UCI Para-Cycling Track World Championships are a collection of world championship events in various disciplines of track cycling where athletes with a physical disability compete.

The Championships were earlier administered by the International Paralympic Committee but are now organised by the sports governing body, the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI). The 1994, 1998, 2002, and 2007 IPC World Championships combined track and road events. The UCI and the IPC organised the 2006 IPC Cycling World Championships and the first UCI Para-cycling World Championships took place in 2007. In the modern era, the Championships are open to riders selected by their national association and currently include events with a division between men’s and women’s races and different disabilities. Winners of each discipline receive a gold medal and a recognisable rainbow jersey.
In 2022 the event will be held at the Vélodrome de Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines in Montigny-le-Bretonneux, France from 20-23 October.
For the second time since its inauguration in 2014, the National Velodrome in Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines will once again host the Tissot UCI Track World Championships from 12 to 16 October 2022!
Organised by the French Cycling Federation, this unmissable event for lovers of speed and adrenaline will bring together the best international track cyclists. They will fight to defend their country’s colours in their quest for the “UCI” rainbow jersey. The French Track Cycling Team will be playing at home in front of its enthusiastic fans!
Continuing the excellent results achieved in recent years, it will have to be on top of its strategic game to fend off fierce competition… Every millisecond will count! This unique and spectacular venue has an international-standard wooden track. It measures 250 metres long and 8 metres wide, surrounded by 5,000 seats.
These five days of events promise to be festive and convivial. Guests will enjoy a unique experience while attending a magnificent sporting spectacle.
It will be a great rehearsal for the athletes and the public who will return to this venue, based in the Greater Paris area, which will host the track cycling events at the 2024 Paris Olympics
Old records will fall and new heroes will rise at the The Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome.
Only the strongest men and women survive the trials of track racing, where six events will test the power, poise, strategy and stamina of the planet’s best para-cyclists.
