Gaggal Airport or Kangra Airport in Dharamshala, which is well connected to Delhi, Kullu, and Chandigarh, is about 20 km from McLeod Ganj. McLeod Ganj is connected to other cities, including Delhi, Chandigarh, and Dharamshala, via a variety of public and private buses. The closest wide gauge railhead for travelers traveling to McLeod Ganj is Pathankot Railway Station, which is located about 90 kilometers distant.

Day 1 Triund Trek | Trek to McLeod Ganj’s Highest Waterfall

Time: 3-4 hours; Altitude: 2,828 m

• Start the Triund Trek Himachal Pradesh by getting to the Bhagsu Nag Taxi Stand before 10:00 AM.

• Begin your ascent to McLeodganj’s largest waterfall, which is a visual treat.

• Take a break at your campsite in Leta/Mana village for refreshments (at your own expense) before continuing on your adventure.

• After a long day of work, hike down to the campsite at Leta/Mana village to find a place to rest.

Day 2 of the Trip: From Triund to McLeodganj | A Bag Full of Lifetime Memories

Time: 3-4 hours; Altitude: 2,828 m

• Enjoy a hearty breakfast while watching the mountains’ stunning sunrise.

• Examine the ethereal vistas of the surroundings, and engage the locals.

• As you descend, take in the tranquil sight of a flock of sheep grazing in the lush meadows.

• Later, have a good time drinking tea in a shack by the ridge while admiring the views of Kangra Valley.

Return to the starting position (at around 12:30 PM)

• The triund trek comes to an end here with a bag full of memories to treasure forever.
