Connor Bray returns for his second Junior Grand Prix of the year. He skated at the season opener in Courchevel, scoring 118.51.
Ashlie Slatter and Atl Ongay-Perez will make their debut on the Junior Grand Prix circuit when they step onto the ice in Latvia. The duo are stepping up to the Junior level this year, they took the Advanced Novice crown at the 2021 British Championships.
Sear-Watkins will be in action first as the Women’s Short Program opens the competition at 09:00 on Thursday 8th.

Bray will also take to the ice on day one, skating in the Men’s Short Program at 17:35.
The Ice Dance Rhythm Dance begins at 09:30 on Friday, with the Women’s Free Skate starting later that afternoon at 13:30.
The Men’s Free Skate gets the final day underway from 09:00 on Saturday, with the Ice Dance Free Dance closing the competition from 13:50.
The competition follows a historic outing in Ostrava for Ice Dancers Phebe Bekker and James Hernandez. They won a Great Britain’s first-ever medal in Ice Dance, taking silver in the Czech Republic.

Arabella Sear-Watkins starts her season with an outing in the Women’s Singles. She made her JGP debut last season in Ljubljana, and recently won Junior gold at the Britannia Figure Cup in Sheffield.

The Chinese Skating Association advised the ISU in May that it would not host Cup of China in 2022 due to COVID-19 restrictions. That event was subsequently re-assigned to Sheffield, England.
