Although there are a few months left, the rumours about the Samsung Galaxy S23, S23+ and S23 Ultra are already beginning to sound. The main rival of the iPhone 15 will arrive at the beginning of next year, Newly arrived Mobiles in Bangladesh, with three completely different models and the commitment to the Ultra model as the best flagship in the history of Samsung.
There is already relevant information about these three phones, so we are going to compile everything that is known about the new Samsung Galaxy S23, S23 + and S23 Ultra, since they aspire to reign on Android next year .
What models will there be of Samsung Galaxy S23?
Last year there were three models in the S22 family: Samsung Galaxy S22, S22+, and S22 Ultra. An S22 FE is expected to arrive soon, but they are models that arrive later and quite separately from the main family. Therefore, this year, three more S23 are expected , with the same essence of the last generation.
- Samsung Galaxy S23 : The smallest model of the three, a rival to the iPhone 15.
- Samsung Galaxy S23+ : the midsize model, with the specs of the S22, but larger.
- Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra : the most complete of the three, aspiring to the best Android of 2023.
- Samsung Galaxy S23 FE (2024?) : the upper-middle range.
Samsung would repeat the strategy we saw last year, offering from a compact Samsung Galaxy S23 that rivals the smallest iPhone, to a renewed S23 Ultra with a screen of almost 7 inches and with all the meat on the grill.
What will the design of the Samsung Galaxy S23 be like?
The design of the Samsung Galaxy S23 has already been completely leaked at the hands of OnLeaks. On the side of the most ambitious model, the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra, it seems that it will be a carbon copy of what we saw last generation . Samsung says goodbye to camera modules and keeps the lenses protruding directly from the body of the terminal.
There is talk of dimensions of 163.4 x 78.1 x 8.8mm, this being the model in the family with fewer bezels. Both the rear and the front will be identical to the previous model. This is Samsung’s new design line and it looks like they’ll stick with it for another year. The weight will be somewhat higher, 233 grams. Jumping to a gigantic sensor may have affected.
Regarding the Samsung Galaxy S23, the design will have changes . This generation, unlike the previous one, will not have a camera module, thus inheriting the philosophy of the Ultra model. The Samsung Galaxy S23 would have dimensions of 146.3 x 70.8 x 7.6 mm, while the Plus would go up to 157.7 x 76.1 x 7.6 mm. Both are much smaller than the Ultra .
Glass and aluminum are expected as construction materials , Samsung Galaxy A74 5G price in Bangladesh, without taking the step towards titanium or stainless steel. This decision allows us to contain the weight of these models, for which we still do not have figures.
What features will the Samsung Galaxy S23 have?
The Samsung Galaxy S23, according to the information we currently have , a very continuous evolution is expected in these three models . The S23 would be the smallest of the family, with a 6.1-inch screen, Full HD+ and a 120Hz refresh rate. Same technology for the S23+, which would go up to 6.6 inches. Both Super AMOLED, how could it be otherwise in Samsung.
The base memory is expected to return to 256 GB, thus eliminating the 128 GB in the most expensive model (as in the last generation). Both 512GB and 1TB versions are also expected.
The S23 Ultra will be the only one with 2K (QHD+) resolution and with extra cameras. The big leap that is expected this generation is the goodbye to the Exynos processors, a long-awaited news. It will bet on the latest generation of Qualcomm , processors that have historically been ahead of those of Samsung.
The jump to 200 megapixels is also expected , with one of the most ambitious sensors of the brand and a change at last in the processing algorithms. Samsung has been polishing the image processing in recent years, and everything indicates that the new sensor will help the results to finally compete for the top 1 in photography.
The chosen sensor will be the HP2 , recently introduced by Samsung and with significant improvements over the 108-megapixel sensor that we saw last generation. It remains to be seen if it affects the final quality, since the main problem we found with the S22 Ultra had to do with the processing, rather than with the hardware itself.
About the camera, Ice Universe has leaked the first photo , a crop of one that seems to have been taken in 200-megapixel mode. Greater sharpness is appreciated compared to the S22 Ultra, although the processing is still as artificial as the last generation. It remains to be seen if this 200-megapixel sensor provides more options, such as optical zoom with sensor cropping or a better RAW file.
The S23 Ultra no longer keeps secrets and confirms what we already knew: it will be practically the same phone. Only the main camera, its lens and the generation of the panel will change.
When will the Samsung Galaxy S23 be presented?
It’s official. The Samsung Galaxy S23 will be presented on February 1 at 7:00 p.m. in the Spanish peninsula. We can wait for the three models we have been talking about, without expecting too many additional hardware surprises.
In the same way, Samsung does not take too long to put them on sale so, except for some distribution problem, the Galaxy S23 should be able to be purchased in the same month of February, between the middle and the end of the same month.
What price will the Samsung Galaxy S23 have?
It is early to know the prices of the Samsung Galaxy S23, but if Samsung wants to be more competitive than the others, it will not be able to afford a price increase , something that seems inevitable given the weak position of the euro and current inflation. To respect the prices of last year, these would be the figures of the S23.
- Samsung Galaxy S23: from 859 euros
- Samsung Galaxy S23 +: from 1,059 euros
- Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra: from 1,259 euros
This is the most optimistic (and unlikely) scenario. A rise of about 100 euros per model would be much more realistic, and it is that seeing the highest range between 1,300 and 1,400 euros will be a common trend next year.
