When is the Islamabad Fashion Show 2020

The Islamabad fashion show is an annual event that takes place in the capital city of Pakistan. It is one of the most prestigious and highly anticipated fashion events in the country, which showcases the latest collections of Pakistani designers. This year, the Islamabad fashion show will be held from 21st to 23rd February 2020 at the Pak-China Friendship Centre.

Islamabad Pakistan

Islamabad is the capital city of Pakistan, and is located in the Pothohar Plateau in the northern part of the country. The city has a population of over 1.8 million people, and is home to many government buildings and embassies. Islamabad is also a popular tourist destination, due to its proximity to the Himalayas, and its array of museums and monuments.

Islamabad Time

Islamabad is the capital of Pakistan and its fourth largest city. The city is located within the Islamabad Capital Territory, which was created in 1960 as a federal territory. Islamabad is situated at the northern end of the Potwar Plateau, which forms part of the Himalayan foothills.

The region has historically been a part of the crossroads of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa with Afghanistan and Central Asia. The city was built during the 1960s to replace Karachi as Pakistan’s capital. The master plan for Islamabad was designed by Greek architect Constantinos A. Doxiadis.

As per Doxiadis’ plan, Islamabad is divided into eight zones, including administrative, diplomatic enclave, residential areas, educational sectors, industrial sectors, commercial areas and rural and green areas. The city is home to several landmarks such as Faisal Mosque – one of the largest mosques in South Asia; Shah Faisal Mosque – named after Saudi King Faisal bin Abdul Aziz; Pakistan Monument – a national monument and museum depicting Pakistani history and culture; Lok Virsa Museum – also known as Heritage Museum; Daman-e-Koh – a view point offering panoramic views of Islamabad; Rawal Lake – a man-made lake located in Margalla Hills; Pir Sohawa – another tourist spot located atop Margalla Hills; Rose & Jasmine Gardens – spread over 30 acres with over 250 different species of roses and jasmines; Sozo Water Park – one of the biggest water parks in Pakistan etcetera. Islamabad experiences extreme weather conditions with very hot summers (April to October) followed by cool winters (November to March).

July and August are generally considered as peak summer months during which temperature often crosses 40 °C (104 °F). Winters are relatively cool with temperatures dipping below freezing point on some nights but typically hovering around 10–15 °C (50–59 °F). Snowfall occurs sporadically usually between December and February especially in hilly areas surrounding Islamabad such as Murree or Galliyat but rarely settles on ground for more than a few days at most

Pakistan’s capital city Islamabad is rich with historical landmarks dating back hundreds – even thousands – of years ago! From ancient ruins to religious sites to natural wonders, there’s something for everyone to explore in this vibrant metropolis.

Conclusion

The Islamabad Fashion Show 2020 was held on March 3, 2020. The event showcased the latest trends in Pakistani fashion and featured some of the country’s top designers. The show was attended by celebrities, socialites, and fashionistas from all over Pakistan.
