Hanan Balil’s Early Life and Career beginnings:
Hanan was born in Kuwait in 1978 to a family of Palestinian origin. From a young age, she displayed a keen interest in art and self-expression through creative means. After finishing high school, she enrolled in college to study graphic design. However, she soon realized that her true passion was for makeup artistry. She decided to make the switch to studying professional makeup and hair styling.
Hanan began her career working as a freelance makeup artist for local fashion shows and photoshoots. She quickly gained a reputation for being talented and professional. In 2003, she opened her own studio, which quickly became one of the most popular places for brides-to-be to get their hair and makeup done in Kuwait.
Hanan’s Work:
Since opening her studio, Hanan has worked with some of the biggest names in the Arab world, including celebrities, socialites, and businesswomen. She has also had the opportunity to travel internationally to work on fashion shows and photoshoots. One of her most recent projects was working as the official makeup artist for Miss Universe Kuwait 2017.
In addition to her work as a makeup artist, Hanan is also passionate about public speaking and education. She frequently gives talks and workshops on topics related to beauty and self-confidence. In 2015, she published her first book, “The Power of Makeup”, which quickly became a bestseller in Kuwait.
