PDC EuroTour starts in 2012, it is played as a series of tournaments on the European continent. With the start of the EuroTour, the Players Championship tournaments on mainland Europe disappear from the calendar. From that moment on the tournaments will be played on big stages with a large audience. However, the Players Championships made a comeback in Europe in 2019.

In the first two years, 64 players are in the main draw, with the first round being played on two stages. From 2014 onwards only 48 players compete in the tournament, which is now played on one stage. In 2021 the EuroTour is carefully restarted after the Covid year 2020. In 2022 the PDC hope to play a full tour with 13 tournaments. These are the tournaments which are currently on the calendar:

01-07 – 03-07 European Darts Matchplay – Trier, Germany
02-09 – 04-09 Hungarian Darts Trophy – Budapest, Hungary
09-09 – 11-09 German Darts Open – Jena, Germany
23-09 – 25-09 Belgian Darts Open – Wieze, Belgium
14-10 – 16-10 Gibraltar Darts Trophy – Gibraltar
he three-day PDC European Tour event will return to the Tercentenary Sports Hall later this year, as 48 players compete for a £25,000 top prize.
Last year’s tournament was won by Gerwyn Price, the current world number one, while former Gibraltar Darts Trophy champion Michael van Gerwen and current World Champion Peter Wright are set to be amongst the competitors this October.
Tickets, costing from just £8, are now available from buytickets.gi and include a Season Ticket option to secure a table seat for all six sessions.
