The Winter Wildcards promotion for the holiday season has returned to FUT with player power-ups as gifts. The Winter Wildcards began on December 23rd at the regular time of 14:00 ET / 18:00 GMT, changing the team of the World Cup Tournament. However, the events started a little earlier: on Monday, December 19, at 14:00 ET / 18:00 GMT, the Winter Wildcards Swaps program started! The event will last for 2 weeks, and on Friday, December 30, Team 2 will be eliminated and replaced by a brand-new content.
Winter Wildcards is coming back to Ultimate Team, it first appeared last year and keeps FUTmas out. It will be held in the same format as before and will bring a lot of diverse players. As usual, the cards will receive a massive increase in stats and rankings, but that’s the only thing familiar you’ll see.
Some players may get a position adjustment, others a weak leg or skill upgrade, or even a dominant leg change! New cards will of course be released in packs, as well as obtained through SBCs and objectives.
In FUT 22, many promos also had an Swaps program coming along, featuring “Winter Wild Cards, and it has reappeared.
