2022 Gibraltar Darts Trophy Day 2 Results, Score, Venue, Draw, Tickets, & Final Day Schedule

Suljovic knocked out reigning champion Gerwyn Price from Gibraltar Darts Trophy with a stellar performance to avenge his 0-8 loss in previous edition final. Aspinall, though, grabbed all the attention with an incredible comeback against Vincent van der Voort, defeating the Dutchman earlier in the afternoon after falling behind 5-0. Van der Voort overcame Aspinall’s poor start to take a commanding lead, but after missing five match darts to make it 6-1, the Dutchman started to wobble and Aspinall came storming back.

In his match against Kenny Neyens, top seed Luke Humphries put on a lavish scoring performance, averaging 99, hitting five 180s, and registering a pair of 11-darters to defeat the Belgian qualifier 6-3.

With a valiant 6-4 victory over Chris Dobey, World Cup winner Damon Heta advanced to Sunday’s third-round matches, where he will now resume his battle with Masters champion Joe Cullen. In third round, Dirk van Duijvenbode will face comeback king Aspinall after surviving a scare against Jason Lowe, while Jose De Sousa will play Van Gerwen on Sunday after defeating Rowby-John Rodriguez by score of 6-3. Elsewhere, fifth seed Rob Cross defeated Austrian teenager Rusty-Jake Rodriguez and will face Ryan Joyce in third round.
