The holidays are still a ways off, but one matchup in Week 6 in particular presents an early gift for NFL fans.
The Buffalo Bills will travel to Kansas City to face the Chiefs in what is a rematch of the thrilling divisional round game from last season in which Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and tight end Travis Kelce helped march Kansas City down the field in 13 seconds to win the game.
Both teams are sitting at 4-1 and both are powers in the AFC. This matchup, therefore, even though it’s early in the season, could carry significant playoff implications as far as seeding and home-field advantage go.
The matchup also pits two potential candidates for the AP NFL Most Valuable Player in Mahomes, who leads the NFL with 15 passing touchdowns, and Bills quarterback Josh Allen, who leads the league with 1,651 passing yards.
