You have no idea how fortunate you are if you have naturally curly hair. The other hair types yearn for the texture, the volume, and the type of everything. Waves hair must be maintained according to its needs, just as 4c curly hair requires the right regimen to retain its radiance. Your wavy hair cannot be treated the same way as fine hair. The problem with wavy or curly hair is that many people don’t discover it until much later. They continue to manage their hair as fine, straight, and curly until the waves lose their real texture and the damage creeps in.

It would help if you determined your deep wave hair needs. To assist you in identifying your hair types and providing them with the proper care, we’ve listed a few tips and methods.

Hair Porosity:

Your hair’s porosity greatly affects the condition and requirements of your hair. The phrase “hair porosity” refers to your deep wave wig capacity to absorb and retain moisture. Body wave hair cuticles are the cause of hair porosity. The wave hair finds it challenging to absorb additional moisture when the cuticles are tightly locked together. Your wave hair may readily collect all the moisture and release it when these cuticles are open.

Hair Porosity

Three different levels of hair porosity exist:

Low Porosity:

Hair with securely closed cuticles is less porous and does not readily absorb moisture. One advantage of this deep wave closure is that it retains its natural moisture, keeping waves in good condition. But a lot of product does accumulate as a result.

Medium Porosity:

Your hair’s waves have medium porosity if the cuticles are neither too open nor too close. Since it doesn’t experience product buildup or dryness, this hair type is great. It can take in enough moisture and hold onto it, keeping the waves’ hair hydrated and healthy.

Medium Porosity

High-Porosity:

If your wave hair is easily permeable yet still feels dry and brittle, it is probably highly porous. High porosity hair has open cuticles, which make it simple for moisture to pass through and into the hair shaft. However, since the openings are not then sealed, moisture continues to escape, leaving hair permanently dry easily.

Contrary to popular belief, 4a curly styles isn’t usually more porous than wavy or fine hair. High porosity waves are also possible in hair. Waves Hair porosity has more to do with your hair’s health and less with your hair’s texture.
